I just started dreading my hair two days ago. I used the backcombing method and they seem to have turned out alright but my roots are very loose. Will they tighten up over time or will i have to comb them out and restart?

ok let mr explain u never had to backcomb at all

hair dreads if u let it dread

so ofcourse tghe roots will dread on their w\own but the roots will be..and ned to be loose for many ,onths this lets them move and knot they loosen even more the 1st few months then in 8-13 months tighten up to 1/2 inch about and stay there

this is normal
