Ok so i work construction and obviously working construction is a dirty job, often there is a lot of dust and dirt that gets kicked up. Is there anything someone could recommend wearing for protection from this? Also, i've noticed when i wash my hair the dirt starts to really stick in my dreads. is there any methods or products that can help this?

I just started dreading my hair two days ago. I used the backcombing method and they seem to have turned out alright but my roots are very loose. Will they tighten up over time or will i have to comb them out and restart?
