Blinding scalp lines!!!

Hello! My dreads are almost 4 weeks old, and I figured by now that my parts/section lines would have kinda "fluffed" away and be hidden better. Is it normal for dreads to still have noticeable section lines at 4 weeks? I feel like part of it is possibly because of somewhat awkward sectioning, and I didn't notice how weird it looked until the dreads were actually in. I'd post pics, but for some reason it's not letting me select that option. And no, I don't have alopecia (correct spelling?), my lines are just super noticeable lol

I never even thought about it being because I crocheted! I bet you're right! I'm working on the wax, so hopefully that'll help things along too

Good to know! I've also read a bit about rubbing the dreads to help loosen up the crochet work, so then they can start really locking up on their own. How much should I do that, and how do I know when I've loosened them up enough for it to actually help speed up the process?
