tnr only defines the sections and gives it a lil head start after that u must leave em alone to dread

black people the ends dread right to the tips because of the curly hair u dont need anything but your hair u dont need to twist n rip it dreads itself other races may ir may not dread to the tips but are better off if they dont loose tips let it dry 5 times faster

it can..if you split them too evenly and twist too much
twist 1 time split about 10 times b4 twisting again
eve4ry split randomize as much as u can
by that i mean dont split in 1/2 1 split make it 99% 1 side 1% other then 30-70 40-60 10-90
as random as u can

oh but if they do look like brwazids dont worry in a few weks that goes away as they dread
yoyr not really making dreads with any methods only defining the sexctions and giving them a lil push towards dreading they dread only by not combing so you dont gotta tnr at all they will dread but tnr teaches em where u want em to dread thats all

I like what you're saying.
I've read it all and a bunch else and am wondering what i can do with my dreads, or just leave them alone to dread on their own.
a cosmotology class gave me temporary dreadlocks with hairspray and backcombing, (they had no idea what they were doing) but basically the glue is gone and i''m left with backcombed sections. My hair's not too curly to begin with so dreads are going to take awhile. You've mentioned backcombing and palm rolling won't help much, what should i do to get my dreads to develop?
