might be the metric thats throwing ya off i diont speak metric but that does seem to be way off
its possible i used as much as a cup per gallon i doubt 2
all i do know is the white patches are from it being too weak not too strong
that is as long as u dont go way overboard and make a paste
ok
whoever can figure out volume measurements
i i use a pitcher about 3-4 inch across 10 inch high and cover the bottom in bout 1/3-1/2 inch

well its the slightest bit foggy at least the surface cause u get tiny tiny bubbles
but its not real cloudy or anything
like imagine the cloudiness if u add just a lil bit of milk to a glass of water and i mean a lil bit
i'll try to measure lil more accurately tomorow and see if i cant give ya a better estimate of what i use
even tho im not usijng it now i can measure

I look forward to finding out how much you use. I think it will be really helpful for people who are unsure of themselves just starting out. I'm comfortable winging it but I know that some people really need concrete answers before they feel good venturing out on their own.
I'll look for the results of your measuring in a more appropriate thread.

I know when I first started doing the BS rinse I was wondering why I wasnt feeling the 'tingle' everyone else talked about. Then I tried carefully measuring 3 Tbls BS to a cup of water. DAMN the tingle! I hadnt been mixing it NEAR strong enough. I poured it over my head and then wrapped it up in a towel. About 4 minutes is all I could handle before I had to wash it out. But after that I can say my scalp was thoroughly clean!! So fresh and so clean clean
