it seems that the underlayer of the right side of my dreads have come undone a bit. they arent completley apart but look like wet straight hair. when you think way back before you had dreads and you'll see. should this have happened? because they arent completley apart.

how did u start em and how long ago? but yea its perfectly normalall starter methods arent to give u dreads just make u look like u have dreads sooner then you dounravelings totaly normal you will still have dreads when your hairs ready to dreadbe patient

just over a month ago I T&R'd. its just the underlayer. the rest are holding together nicely. its just like they split apart into smaller dreads. they arent completly undone but they are spaced out. I dont know how to explain it. soaringeagle said:
