I am an artisan also, and yes, love and time is put into what we all make by hand. We do not make a huge profit or paycheck, it goes right back into our work. I buy from other artisans, no chain stores to save a buck. I will also buy from thrift stores to recycle. Support your own country and their goods, not made in China (please take no offense to this remark)

When I am finding wood and making the beads I am not thinking about making money that's for sure. Quite a different energy than repackaging. So when buying beads, please consider these things.
