My dreads are very thin at the root

Hi everyone, hope ya all well and more importantly can help me.

I am new to this forum, first post so here goes....

I have had dreads for a couple of years and they are doing fine except one or two. The problem is the dread is cool but the root is really thin, like 5 or 6 hairs going into a dread.

I am after the correct technique to save this as I don't it to break off.

Any help greatly appreciated

1st what are yu doing to them

stop it

2nd theres no technique to save them except to not sepertate so they combine or bead or wrap 2 together so they combine are u twisting or interlocking or root rubbing or palm rolling or crocheting or..anything ..just stop it whatever it is

also are u visualy seeing this or feeling it the roots being loose feel thinner less substantial then the firm dread
