Dread paddles

A lot of my dreads have the big paddles at the ends. I've also noticed them on others, especially on those who don't do a lot of maintenance. I was wondering if those paddles ever get tighter and skinnier, or if they'll always be fatter at the ends. I know I could cut them off, but I'd rather not have a blunt cut at the bottoms of my dreads. Anyone ever have their paddles thin out over time? If not, I'm not too worried about them. They just make it are to put beads on

they are nothing to worry about unless they are huge and unconfortable i got few escpecialy round my ears

Okie dokie! In your case do they tend to thin out ever, or do they generally stay beefy? Lol I really don't mind the looks of them, they're kinda neat. I just have some beads that I really like and can't fit them over the monster ends

maybe a bit but mostly stay fat just put the beads on other 1s
