So my hair has been knotting up for about 5 or 6 months now. I started off with three, but I loved them so much I just did the rest of my hair. The bottom layer of my hair went through the process extremely fast. The top is having a lot of trouble with loose hair, but oh well. I get frustrated sometimes with how long it's taking, but it seems like my hair is dreading faster than most. I have very thick wavy blonde hair with a natural streak of black. I've never used any sort of product in my hair and I did do some palm rolling for about the first month, but I've quit since then. The majority of them have been back combed, a few are tnr, and I have one cute little neglect dread that I was just going to keep in my bangs, but it didn't feel like being left out so I let it do it's thing.

About a month later I had the majority of my head back combed and some twist and rip.
A couple days after I finished dreading up the rest of my hair.
It's been about 2 months at this point? I don't keep track.
