Curly dreads

So I'm about 2 and half weeks into my dreads and they look like a curl more than a dread will this curl stay? Does anyone else have curly dreads? I'm feeling the curls so this is more a wonder than a concern.

they will be crazy curly at least through the teen stage less so when mature
