Dying my 5+ month old dreads...henna?

Hello, so I did read through some of the otherdiscussionson dying dreads. It seems like chemical box dyes can cause the dreads to loosen. Does that apply to my dreads at 5months? they do still have a few soft spots. Should I use henna and does anyone know a specific place to get this? My hair is for the most part untreated. The last time I dyed it was probably over 1.5 yrs ago.

if u cajn avoid dying u should but if u absolutely must then hennas the way to go just get the purest henna you can get
