joyful.d's dreadlock journey

July 12th, 2010 I began my dreadlock journey. I sectioned and backcombed (I hadn't found this site yet, and didn't know that backcombing was mostly a waste of time). The backcombing unravelled, as I've learned it tends to do, and I've left a large section to redread naturally and used t&r to tighten up the ends of some other sections. Sort of a dreadlock sampler on my head.

Day 14. Ends are unravelled and curling.

they look good, try spraying sea salt water on them to help lock up the hair quicker..... but they do look like they are coming along well

Looks like it is going well. I think we have a kind of similar hair type and began the journey at relatively the same time. It will be cool to see how they turn out.

lookin great looks like u had alotta shrinkage huh
