Here's a rear view.  before shrinkage I used to be able to tie it up in a knot at the front, guess it will be a year or two before i can do

that again..

Some of the ones at the back feel like they are forming a big kong and I separated them too early... thoughts anyone?

@soaring-eagle  Thanks, I have been wrapping in a towel  for 5 - 10 mins after washing to get most of the water out (no towel rubbing), separate them while damp. Seems to be working s l o w l y.  Is there any thing i'm doing wrong or could try to speed things up?

I rinse with cool water, can you remind me why this is better for the scalp?

simple.. hot water dries out your skin

we had a  guy in the fb group asking about dandruff meanwhile his scalps bright red from a hot shower..wasn't dandruff just dried out scalp.. plus closes the pores and cuticles

are u washing with the dreadlockshampoo liquid? thats what really helps it lock up faster

its definitely dreading well its not al that slow  and definitely needs to keep on top of separating

SE  thanks.. the separating feels like they need it,  then afterwards it feels like i've lost some dread babies; will keep on top of it. as more are definitely appearing slowly but steadily.

Is wrapping hair in a towel after washing ok?  seems to soak a lot of water away.

Have been using Dreadlocks shampoo when scalp allows. (still seems to get inflamed and itchy sometimes - vicky was getting some anti itch shampoo together to try)

are u using bars or liquid

liquid maybe over drying..helps it dread faster but  dont want over dr

u can alternate..bars will need less seperating as they wont dread as fast

have been using Liquid, but after doing scalp treatment with "Nizoral" (doctors prescription).  Think some of scalp problems are stress related as they seem to get worse when life is a bit stressfull...  will have to get in touch with Vicky soon.

I have one of the bars which i have used.... Lathers up really well! - and hope to use again when scalp is better.

Totally different subject.. you mentioned "Vermin Supreme" political candidate a while back,  I checked some of his videos and agenda and think he should be president.

Especially like his choice of headwear!

.....suggest anyone else has a look too, it will brighten up your day folks.

I like Vermin. A good guy. The McCain party looked much better than the Obama party.

Separate more, it's not too hard to let the too small ones join, it's real hard to make a took big one smaller without brushing out the whole dread.
