Welcome to the community Djordje and to the best site on the web for healthy dreadlocks. Greetings to Serbia. Here is the Baking soda (BS) & apple cider vinegar (ACV) ratio you wanted: Mix .24 liter of BS into 1.18 liter of water...dissolve the BS....pour this over your wet head....leave it on for 10 minutes or more to exfoliate the scalp...it will loosen all the dead skin etc. all on its own without scrubbing the scalp...now after the 10 minutes or more, rinse this out well. ...(under 10 minutes and it won't exfoliate properly)....now that it is rinsed, you will mix 1-2 capfuls of apple cider vinegar (ACV) into 1.18 liter of water...pour this over your head and rinse it out within one minute...this balances back the hairs PH level from using the BS. If you don't always use the ACV, after baking soda (unless you have the oily scalp) then you will dry out your hair and it will take months to repair. I did not always use it and it took about 4 months to get soft hair back again.

So, wash 2-3 times a week, dreads love clean hair and mature faster this way. By the one year mark,or once they are mature, you can wash once a week.....

Enjoy your dreads Djordje...peace

Welcome to the community Red Lola, so glad you joined us all there. You certainly came to the best site ont he web for all your healthy dread information. Hope you are having a wonderful journey so far. So those little specks are bothering you huh, the hair follicle...if it bugs you that much, have your partner get tiny scissors and snip any off that are sticking out, or just let them be, try not to sweat the little things. I bet that towel lint will bug you too and for that I have a great tip. Purchase a towel the same color as you hair, that way you won't notice the lint....All dread shampoos and bars work great in soft water, but not in hard, they choices are slim. www.dreadlockshampoo.com has the best products around that work in all water types. I have hard well water and they work great......enjoy your journey....peace
