no frownies, your locs are beautiful! I just was responding to mydiscussion about regret. Please don't make the same mistake as I, love your locks as the come. As your locs grow so will your love for them.
Mine look similar. Somedays I love them and somedays I think they're a little "ugly duckling". On the days when I feel like they're ugly I put beads and pretty things in them to give them color. Tams... whatever makes me smile that day. We just have to be patient til they're really pretty mature dreads.
what month are you at ...im at 5 months and my dreads look like that if not worse ...its definately part of the natural locking process ....people make comments about them all day but in the end its how you feel about them how important this journey is to you....because in year or so they will look fabulous
i think they look totally awesome,....

Your thoughts and feelings about your hair may also influence how they come out (read: how they look to you). You might try finding something you *do* love about them and focus on that at least once a day to get into a more positive space with them.To me they just look like teenagers, in a growing phase, but it's a little hard to see from this tiny phone screen.

Theyre not ugly! Embrace them, love them and see the beauty in them. Youre still really early in. Paitence is a virtue so hang in there!
