I used was for my first set, and, granted I was told not to wash for 2 months, enough moisture accumulated in my hair that my hair decomposed on my head, but was stuck there by the wax, and I was walking around with a swamp on my scalp. this is not uncommon. it happens to just about everyone who uses wax. But they don't find out until it's too late. Or they don't find out at all, and ignore the issue and leave the wax in for years. It's pretty gross.
the clockwise rubbing is a complete lie, it does nothing but causes baldness and rips out hair from your scalp. The same goes for palm rolling. It thins out your locks, but you can't see the damage for about a year. And once you can see it, it's almost impossible to fix. i did it for 2 weeks when I first started, and 6 years later I am still trying to fix it.

backcomb once does plenty of harm backcomb over abd over and yoir really tearing your hair up
