welcome u should remove the wax and throw that took=]l awau=y it causes loose hairs tools break hairs throw it away and let them recover
and never ever ever put runbber bands in dreads!

Welcome to the site... I read , your post my advice would be wash your hair as much as you need and loose the rubber bands and you should be in good shape. I too have very curly hair and my hair locked up in no time. If you have any questions drop me a line.
