Welcome. Ivory leaves residue in your hair which is the opposite of what you need for healthy locks. Check out the soaps from the site Eagle mentioned. Or Dr. Bronners or the BS/ACV wash. But both of those don't work in hard water. The dreadlockshampoo.com ones are the best

id recomend u do any anti-residue or clarifyn=ing shmpoo just to remove the buildup then use these www.dreadlockshampoo.com
