I don't know about dread loss depression, lol, but give yourself at least a year to form matured dreads. you won't regret it. And yes, you can stop the palm rolling and twisting. Just let them do their thing.

just wash and seperate as nee4ded
if u shave u will regret it u will gfo through dread looss depression and wont feel right till u dread again
some go through multiple sets before realizing this
but they alway dread again till thry dread for life
