Welcome. What bar soap are you using? Scentless doesn't mean they are good for locks. And dandruff shampoo is usually extremely toxic. A good shampoo with rosemary and tea tree oil is great for getting rid of dandruff

Welcome. But I have to warn you that wax is horrendous for locks. It does nothing but prevents them from ever maturing. Wax acts like a glue. It keeps knots and tangles from forming, by gluing your hair in the same place it was the first day you put it in. So they never mature past that day. I hope you were told to wash your hair, at least. But that is also a huge problem. Wax is a hydrocarbon. It doesn't wash out in any amount of normal soap and water. It NEEDS a detergent and tons of scrubbing to clean it out. If not, then water will get trapped inside your locks, and begin to grow mold/mildew, and will make your hair rot. Trust me from experience. My first set rotted so bad that my hairliterallymelted off my head.
