@alyssa: don't give up! At 3 months I didn't think it was going to happen either. I just didn't worry about it; did not comb/brush; did not use conditioner. My hair started matting up slowly. It seemed like it was going to take forever. Your hair will begin changing. It might take a long time. During this period you just need to go about your life without worrying about it, and you will start noticing changes. It is a journey, and it takes patience. I hope you can hang in there. Then again, if you feel like this is not the time, you can try again later. I was 51 years old when I started dreading. You are quite young, I'm sure. So, it is also a matter of instinct, but also it is a matter of not thinking about it too much, if you can. Trust your instinct Good luck!!
@Aylissa: I knew as soon as they started to matt together in one big clump so I would lightly rip them apart. Sometimes it was a severe rip because I didn't catch them sooner. I have a couple that congoed because I didn't catch them in time, and of course I like them I hope you have people to accompany you on your dread journey. Sometimes it can be difficult, depending on who you are around.

kinda
its best used early onto get sections to start to knot up
it holds sections together enough to let then knot while letting them move so they can knot
its also so residue freethat after applying yoiwont even have to rinse your hands you wont feel iton them only the scent
you should not have wax! and never ever put it in or near your hair
oh thanks so much. i've been doing the baking soda and apple cider to get my hair back to being somewhat normal, i'm gonna order that shampoo.! thanks
dont use that! thats not non residue its anti residue its 1 of the most toxic shampoos there is
its a residue stripper and is very harsh it says on it only to use it once every several months...like 4 times a year
only use it to remove residues
