I'd like to thank you all for your kind words regarding my previous blog post. It means so much to me.

I think I'll let my hair grow a few inches more before I start growing dreads. I want to be able to tie them up if I need to.

I thought about going for the rip and twist method, just because I really miss those locks hanging down. One way around the other, I'll start taking pictures of my dread journey, one month at the time.

And this time, I'm going to keep them for as long as I can. No one shall never cut my dreads again.

It is in deep sorrow I bring you guys such bad news...
Due to medical reasons I'd like to keep private, I had to cut off my dreads .
I got this message in November after a visit with the doctor...
But don't worry. There is nothing serious, other than cutting my dreads .

There, enough of the gloominess...

I'm not cutting my hair again.
Eventually, when my condition gets better, I'll start on a brand new journey.
After trying both dreadwax (many years ago) and crochet, I want to start growing natural dreads.

People say that I shouldn't grow dreads again, but why should I listen to them!?
I have a passion for dreads that can't be taken from me. I feel that dreads represent my creative mind and my personality. Why shouldn't I grow dreads?

If you read so far, I sincerely hope that you will be so kind and write a few words.

And so this post marks the end of one journey and the beginning of a new one.

I love my dreads......but not because they aren't perfect in the eyes of others....but not because they don't have the same size and shape....but not because I don't use wax.I love my dreads......because they're all mine....because they are clean....because mine are different than yours....because I don't care about what others say....because it feels right.
