My dreads are gone and it hurts.
It is in deep sorrow I bring you guys such bad news...
Due to medical reasons I'd like to keep private, I had to cut off my dreads .
I got this message in November after a visit with the doctor...
But don't worry. There is nothing serious, other than cutting my dreads .
There, enough of the gloominess...
I'm not cutting my hair again.
Eventually, when my condition gets better, I'll start on a brand new journey.
After trying both dreadwax (many years ago) and crochet, I want to start growing natural dreads.
People say that I shouldn't grow dreads again, but why should I listen to them!?
I have a passion for dreads that can't be taken from me. I feel that dreads represent my creative mind and my personality. Why shouldn't I grow dreads?
If you read so far, I sincerely hope that you will be so kind and write a few words. 
And so this post marks the end of one journey and the beginning of a new one.

aww dam but good luck!!!! one my friends had do same hmm hope its not a trend in health problems for us dread heads o shoot, good luck on healing journey and dred second or third journey which ever it is now

It was worst the first month or so.
Now I'm looking forward to start afresh and grow all natural dreads :D
I'm sorry to hear, you seem to be really upset and I can't say I blame you. I agree with SE, the new ones may be better and who knows? maybe even healthier. And they might do it differently than your last set, so try to be at peace, remind yourself it's necessary, and think of it as a new experience! <3 )O(
I hope everything gets better for you and I am so sorry for you having to cut your dreads, but if you had to, im sure it is serious enough for us all to hope for a quick recovery, and im sure we are all hoping for your health.
