been crocheting a lot lately.
adorable! I love them!
I am so sorry to hear all of this Panterra, I've been thinking of you. I don't know how much help I can be all the way over here in Ohio but I will gladly be praying for you and will always be an ear to listen and if there IS anything I can do, you better believe I will jump at the opportunity. I'ma shoot you a message on FB!
I don't have the time to read all of these comments yet, (i will though) but I have to tell you that one good thing I got out of this story is that she KNEW you were dreadlocking or she wouldn't have asked sooooo take that as good news, your hair is locking maybe in it's own time and progress but it is and it's recognizable as such (I know you've had confidence issues and I understand them all too well). Otherwise like everyone said, (especially the ignorance is native to no one religion race, creed etc...comment!) Some people are shallow and judgemental and ill informed and the worst thing about that is that they don't know it so they go through life throwing their crap at people! Hair is hair, and it's yours and all you're doing is embracing nature....love yourself and your hair and forget those losers!
This is an amazing, amazing, amazing thread I keep sharing all this info with family and friends with health and hair issues and they love it, and I LOVE being taught new and alternatives! Thank you!
I'd definately suggest a rosemary rinse, and perhaps hold back on the tea tree for a few days, are you still doing a lot with the salt? If so maybe cut back on that for a few days too, or try your darndest to keep it off your scalp? I hope it starts getting better, I know mine got worse when I stopped rinsing off in cold water since it got cold outside...maybe that could be a culprit as well?
