Method With Most Shrinkage?

Just curious about which dreading method would/could cause the most initial shrinkage. I have seen many posts about shrinkage but haven't been ambitious enough to check info page to see what method used.I would think that backcombing would have the most shrinkage and true neglect would have the least. What are your experiences?Silly me had mine lightly backcombed then crocheted and I haven't had any shrinkage, btw mine are recovering quite nicely after following SE advice. Most of them are fluffy and soft and I finally love my hair

yea i think backcombing would have the most initial shrinkage crochet the least but your only delaying it ofcourse if u crochet forever never letting ewm dread u may never shrink but when your fully recovered u will go throuf=gh a shrinkage periond but might not be for awhile

umm..the only 1 that wuld cause more shrinkage then backcomb is hose silly salons that fold them in 1.2 then crochet or whatever
