Dreadlock Salon Disaster

so i've been talking with soaringeagle.

and now that i know what he thinks... what do you think?

the top pic is what they are now after going to the salon

the bottom one is when i first tried the backcomb - crochete - wax - dreadheadhq method

what the hell did they do???

well this picks are of 2 different times... the top being the current dread journey im on. SE suggested the TNR method but my hair is only 3 inches so im worried that they'd come undone after washing them

ahh i seewell would keeping bands on the tips help cut that down till they are locked...btw how long would that take... the locking process... cuz ive heard different time lengths from different people

all she put in there was aloe vera which can easily wash out

google traction alopecia if you keep going bsack to that salon for the maintenance suggested thats what youd end up with...permenant balding needing hair transplants

lkook at what u got the "dreads" are thinner then a straw but the sections what 20 times bigger? all that hairs extremely tightly pulled in then they opulled the whole "dread" thriugh the root..that interlock point is so tightly twuisted it has a very good chance of breaking off there

u wanted nickle sized dreads take a nickle lay it on the root sectin then add more nickles till the root areas covered ..thats how many dreads each section should bre..5 or 6 would be my guess..the dreads she made if they ever dread you wouldnt be able to wrap your hand around and touch finger to thumb,..

if uits 3 inches its a lil short to tnr but u probly can another inch will help alot

my honnest suggestion..take thjose out (demanding your money back)

by the time u gain an inch the hair will be sectioned maybe dreading if its dreading continue on if its just sectioned tnr

at 3 in u maybe able to do a combo of backcomb/tnr successfully

yeah my hair is 3 - 4 inches

tahts y im having trepadation in TNR method

hes got interlocks they have to come out and the sections are massive 5 times the size he wanted..

yea the traction alopecia is if he went back for maintenance like she wanted

the interlocks gotta come out right away while it still can come out

then he can go natural or tnr if the tnr dont take he can go natural till its longer then tnr

or do a combo

but the interlock..thats gotta come out now..
