Thank you for my comment. They were put in for me and I asked for them to be very loose, she has only crocheted every inch or so. My dreads are only short so I don't think there will be much damage. My main issue is the thinness of my hair and the "baldy" gaps between the dreads.

welcome but crochet was a veryvery bad idea
it causes extreme damage and 1 use delays dreading by 6 months and takes 3 years to recover fully (lose the stiffness and harsh crochettdd look) (if tight if not tight they recover faster but they get extreme frizz from the severe harm to the hair)
