Dude, thanks a lot man, I got them all seperated hurt like a mother for a few days but feels better now. Afgter I spererated the two little dreads from the two big ones they just compepletly let eachother go at the roots feels a lot better man. I had to wrap the smaller ones up with a bit of string cuz they felt a little fragile but its great to have 4 where before there was only 1. A question I have about having it wrapped is, how long can wraps stay on your dreads? I tied it only tight enough to keep the dread together and so it wont fall off just in case that helps.
tats, to seperate when wet try oulling them apart hard if they wont release step 2 add olive oil only to the conected oparts try again
ifstill wont release, very carefully oull them apart outtingtension on the joined area and with a sharp razorblade slice carefully in straight between them toewards the scalp...surgically, onlya couple mm then try ripping, slice a tiny bit more, try riipping
try to cuyht only atiny bit each time
try to wear them loose at work if toied back tied loosely
tension on the scalpscausing that
Some quick questions I have man for whoever is reading this. So I'm 8 months into my hair right now and so far this are great. But I have a couple concerns I guess you call em. First, I only have 18 and that's all over my head other than some loose hair, right now I have two different congos that have been growing together for a while now But they are growing together at the root. I want to know what's the best way to go about splitting it. Its too low to my scalp too get under And just rip it apart so should I cut it? And if so how low do i cut it? Or is it just to damn late and I should just leave it alone? My other thing was, I have a major empty space on both sides of my head because my dreads tend to shift a lot. I had one that was on the side of my head for forever and just yesterday I realized it has moved all the way to the back of my head. Is this normal? I usually have to keep my hair tied up while I'm at work so I'm pretty sure that's where my shifting started which is fine, can't be helped but these damn empty spaces are killing me. It's like the same spot on both sides of my head where you can see a part line. But it's a gnarly part cuz of the way my dreads are growing. My question is, is there any thing I can do to fix my scalp showing our is that all part of it. Oh and dude can some one take a closer up picture of their scalp/dread roots Not sure If mine are how they need to be.
