Yeah, learnt that the hard way way, haha. I went to some locticians (i know they are not right way go now) in orfer to get some of the regrowth back in, coz i had dangerously thin roots. The assured me they could do it with no damage. One of them just interlocked despite specifically saying not to and i didnt notice until it was too late for some of them. And they locticians were doing stupid things like running the hook the already knotted and matured sections of lock, which is obviously not going to be useful and is guaranteed to snap every hair it passes through. This is part of the reason there is so much regrowth (badly done roots.) Is you have any suggestions on how to get that regrowth in without a hook. The method i current use for roots is holding it at the base and gently rubbing in a circle with no stain. The motion is similar to Earths orbit, dont know how else to describe it. Big circles with lots of small circles. I'm not making myself very clear:/

welcome but crochet is 1 of the top 5 worse things you can do to dreads
and the 1 and only thing you needed to do to get dreads..us wash them
you should have been washing 1-3 times a week from the very beginning, and never crocheting even once.
