asian hair will form dreadlocks naturally very easily, in fact the fastest forming dreads i ever saw were a japanese guy whos hair would be 3-6 massive dreadlocks when he woke if he didnt braid it the night before.

6-8 hours was all it took to dread

so why is it we hear asian hairs so hard to dread?

we have dozens of asians on the site with natural dreads some forming in under a week

but salons and product pushers love to insist certain hair types are hard to dread without their products or services.

african americans also have this belief that their hairs hard to dreasd without a loctician

straight or curly hair your told your hairs hard to dread.

in fact many will say its impossible without dread perms etc.

asians have traditionaly been the one peoples most klied about. claiming their hair was the hardest of all to dread.

maybe due to all the locticians that popped up on every corner in taiwan and the philipines

with so much competition for so few dreadies they had to lie and tell you there is no other way./

asian hir however is not hard to dread ..at all

it will dread like crazy if you let it

in fact, the first person i ever saw with dreads dragging on the ground was a philipino/cherokee mixed guy named jai many years ago

he just never owned a comb in his life and grew his dreads from birth
