Thanks for the advice Phil.I like your locs too. They look good on you. I actually don't over twist at all, but I do prefer a manicured loc over the natty ones for myself. I partially free form and I only loc every 4 months. I

wax only glues hair together to look like dreads (its a scam) it prevents all movement needed for actual dreading
it hardens so it apears to be maturing but its just hardening wax
it traps dirt and water and never washes out (even after 10 years of bioling them)
wax is the number 1 killer of dreads the most common cause of dreads being cut
it causes mold mildew and dread rot
it coats everything it touches ruining pillows furniture and clothing
it causes infected zits clogged pores
and its just nasty
