Welcome. But don't bother palm rolling. It's actually a seriously damaging method. It only does 1 of 2 things. If you only do it once in a while, it doesn't help create lasting knots. It only makes them look neat for a few hours. But after you wash, or sleep, it's all back to the way it was before. If you do it enough to see progress, you are severely damaging the roots. This thins out your locks and makes them really weak.
I only did it for the first 2 weeks, and 6 years later I am still trying to fix the damage:
