photos on the left are from some wax, root flipping, backcombing, crocheting, interlocking, and leaving rubber bands in for two months. they look awful and completely unnatural. the amount of damage done to them is insane and my hair is still falling out. these were started on 24 November 2013 and were taken out on 26 January 2014.
the photos on the right are my natural journey. my corkscrew willow tree branches were freed from that tight awful mess of basically braids on 26 January 2014 (which happens to be two days after my two month mark). I am beyond happy with my natural journey and the way my branches are progressing. they are beautiful and look wonderful (as wonderful as they can look for all the damage that still needs to be repaired). I would never suggest anything other than the natural way to anyone.
