The great thing about dreads is you really don't have to worry, You can be rest assured that they need no maintenance and will dread all on their own. As long as you wash and separate, there is nothing else to do but sit back and enjoy the wild ride....peace

Welcome to the community...I love your profile pic...you must be a little firecracker! Glad you joined all of us here and can find many healthy tips for your journey. I also did T&R and have a post than will give your great tips for that method: (Dead URL) http://www.dreadlockssite.com/forum/topics/just-starting-out-what-to-expect/a>

Do you know your water type? Below is a map for you just in case. With soft water, you can use any dread shampoo or bar, but with hard water, they don't all rinse out properly and many will slowly leave behind a residue build up. If you need great dread products, visit www.dreadlockshampoo.com , works in all water types. Enjoy your journey.....peace
