I am away at the moment, so it is very difficult to find special products for dreadlocks. I got Chlorhexidine at the pharmacy on the advice of a blogger. It is a liquid decontamination agent that dissolves grease and does not dry out. It is completely safe for the skin. I wrote this comment because my dreadlocks are stiff to the touch. Perhaps the problem is my hairdresser. thanks for your reply

Welcome but what’s chlorhexidine and why are you rubbing your scalp with it?
if your dreads are only a month old and natural softening them will undo progress but Whatever that is that you’re rubbing it with is most likely the problem
