Thank you it was a close call I always wanted dreads some day when I was younger ive always been fascinated by them I was looking around the internet looking for ways to make em I almost started them with the back combing method but found this site a few days before and am going for the natural route
nice! part of me wants to start over and do it via neglect but i dont want to have to wait for my hair to grow out after cutting these out.. i've some 8 months and i think i will just leave them! good for you for going neglect

Ive only been dreading for 77 days im going the natural neglect free form route, I work 6 days a week cooking so I must wear a hair net and hat probley slowing my progress a little bit but I got a bunch of baby dreads forming and its all sectioning itself very nicely:)
how far along are you? my dreading was accelerated by crocheting (bad idea) but now i leave them alone- the result is much softer and fatter dreads the bottom look lots better than the top because i never crocheted them after the initial time.. hoping the rest will look as nice with time!
