Hey yall!! Ive recently started a new lock journey. After a year and some odd months of having my dreadies I decided to brush em out and start a new. Between locks seperating and the horrid sectioning i needed a fresh start. My babies are now only a few months old. I will be adding photos to share my new journey. I am a momma to a spirited and amazing little man! He's my world. I first thought about getting dreads when I was in my early teens. I would do to my braids all the time and even twist my hair for the temporary look but never fully took the dive until now. After having my many phases with my hair, long, short, every color imaginable, I finally just let it be and grow for a while. After I had my son i realized I just didnt have the time or patience to constantly do my hair everyday. He's now 9 yrs old and I figured since my hair always wants to do Its own thing and tangle that it was time to make the dive! Just over a month in on my journey and loving it! Everyday is something new! I cant wait to see them change and grow!
