Sounds to me like you should start seperating. The way i go about it, is i lift a section of hair and if other sections around it move with it, you need to seperate that because they are dreading together. There is a guy on youtube who goes by the name LazyDreads and he gives alot of advice on what to do. One of his videos is specific to seperating, knowing when to and how to. He is not always full of the best advice in all of his vids but most are good. I would check him out.
hey Joy, sorry i only just now saw ur request and messages. I don't check often enough. my advice really depends on how far along you are and what method you're using. I went completely neglect (except I separate) I wash my hair with Dr. Bronners and once or twice a month with selsun blue for my scalp. I honestly just leave it be. Wash, shake dry, put in a tam or hair band it back, not too tight. Not much to it than that. Just keep separating, hope all goes well for you!
