i love my dreads, but i have definitely experience some negative side effects from twist n rip. breakage down the length of my dreads from staying braidy for too long, certain dreads resisting sections, even ones i let "section themselves" , i feel like the tnr i did was too restrictive. it's no big deal, but if i could start over i just might! but maybe not.....
Thanks for the comparison picture! I am trying to decide if I want to create my dreads like I did last time which was backcombing and twist and rip done on every dread or if I just want to do twist and rip alone. It is nice to see the progression of the process like this!
