Congrats on your journey, bro. Thank you for the compliment. I am so glad I chose dreads - or that they chose me. I do not regret it one bit. I look forward to lovely mature locks one day, even as they go grey in the years to come. DREADS ARE AWESOME!
Yes, they are. They are nice and loopy now at just over 9 weeks, with a fair amount of loose hair. My roots are still pretty loose but I can feel lots of tightening going on in the actual dreads.
Wow, that has to be some setup you have going on! Is it how you earn your bread and butter? There's nothing quite like doing what you love, bro. Your enthusiasm is tangible! I'll bet you are an incredible dj. I feel very free when I am up on stage; like I am totally in my element and doing what I am meant to do.
As for family, my family of origin definitely think I am slightly off my rocker, but are very loving anyway. None of them are musical or even very creative. So it is extra meaningful to me that my teenage daughter wants to spend time with me. Her older sister doesn't! LOL Nothing quite like raising teenage girls, let me tell you... But I am trying to just let them grow up without too much interference. I guide them as I can when I can (ie. if danger is looming) but I really want them to be Free Thinkers. I was raised in a fairly confining religious background which did not encourage thinking for one's self.

I can play it for a couple on minuits but I always lose my ryuim! But it's great that you and your daughter play together. It's funny im so different from the rest of my family they don't spend much time with me! But they are all amazing and I love them all to bits I would never ask them to change same as they would never ask me! I love the fact that my folks raised me to think for my self and to make up my own mind! Djing is my life I think the only thing I couldn't live with out is mt turntables I'll have to take a photo and show you my set up its got to be worth around 4000 and that's with out my rig! Lol
I'm not very accomplished on the didge yet, either. My daughter plays, too. We have fun sitting on the porch under the stars in summer time, playing together. I love it that she is musical too. I will have to listen to some of your dub. Cool that you DJ, that must be fun; lots of energy and stuff.

Lol but I do dj I love my dubstep but real dubstep before it lost the dub element!if ya want to know what I mean I have some tunes I like to drop on my profile! Im just started to make my own tunes I love it sooo much! Although I'm teaching myself so it's slow going! Lol
I play djembe and didg. I also sing in a classic rock band, hence the drums in our home! I could take a bigger picture and show you all our crazy gear: Many guitars, amps, mikes, drums, monitors... some days I feel like I live in a music store! It's funny. Oh, and let's not forget all of the didgeridoos, recorders, trombone, violin, etc. I used to fool around a bit on an actual kit about 10 yrs ago, as well as keyboards. I have also played flute, clarinet, and guitar.
