Thanks, dood! I starting washing my hair with bar soap for about a week to strip my hair of the oils from conditioning and whatnot, and then I quit brushing for like half a week, washing my hair like every 3 days and my hair started to piece into locks. I just went through and took the locks and twisted them tight in the direction that they're growing (counter clockwise on my head) and I rubbed them at the roots, and then I'd do the twist and rip where you twist it tight and separate the end of the lock and pull them appart. This creates a good knot to hold your locks together as you let them form. Patience is the key. I think I got a bit impatient, but I think they'll look pretty good anyways. Good luck, Brotha!
