a couple of my dreads are about to pop (roots very thin). I know rubber bands are bad but i took the two which were next to each other and connected then but left the roots un-rubberbanded. I feel like its the best thing to do, i figure they will fall out if i just let them go or maybe combining them will work, or the will just fall out anyway. If anybody can help me please do.

definitely embroidery floss instead of bands. much easier on the hair and a lot easier to remove when the time comes.

Eagle took the words right out of my mouth. I had that issue too. I didn't twist, or anything, but from palm rolling, I ran into the same problem. You can see in one of my videos what I did to help strengthen my roots. Sorry I don't have the link. I think it's the last one before the ones of me playing my uke

dont use rubber bands instead wrap the 2 togetger with hemp or embroidery thread or use a bead over 2 or u can just not seoerate and they will combine

rubber bands are more likely ti]o help them fall off
