Welcome. Retwisting more than 2-3 times a year will eventually cause baldness. It puts too much torque on your scalp and roots. This rips hairs out and weakens and thins out your locks.
You should never see scalp showing between each section. That is a condition called traction alopecia. It leads directly to bladness
