"I have had dreads for a while now, long enough for my scalp to acclimatise, but I am still getting a kind of residue building up on my scalp when I leave..."
welcome but crochet is extremely bad for dreads and causes the mess that requires more crochet to repair.. it can take years to recovder from the 1st crochet if it was tight as well..
