Hey! So now tons are changed a lot. I have made many set of dreds with different methods and never were happy with them. Soo soo stupid i know.. My cousin is a hairdresser and said my hair is not damaged just the ends and she cut them of. My scandinavian fine and silky and straight hair wont hold even a gurl so on this monday I Just back combed the roots and left them alone and wont touch them never again. Lack of patience is my key problem obivesly and i want ro work on that i want them to be narural and not using any maintenence on them. I have allready made every mistake that one can make with them. Thank God of this communite

Welcome but remove the bands they sre no good at all
Switch to a dread shampoo www.dreadlockshampoo.com is by far best.. liquid till mature unless your black then bars any stage
Start washing every 2 then 3 days wash hot to clean pores rinse cold to seal pores
Over washing causes excessive oil production
Also worth testing your body ph
Too acidic and you get too oily
