Well, i've so far have had awesome luck. :D I backcomb the weakspots and the type of hair i have is making the dreads growing in the tightest i've ever seen and i've worked on about 3 peoples with about two different styles. Mine's so far the best to come out. I walked into this knowing it was an experiment, because she's never even worked on Caucasian hair before. The consecutive interlocking hasn't produced any broken dreads, but rather has really packed down a lot of my hair tight so that once i tighten them, i can have them standing on end. Backcombing the tips is the most i have to do, and that's when i've cut them short.

yea they say never tie a knot in a dread to fix a weak spot..cause then it will breal there well its the same thing except your putting a knot ontop of a knot ontop of a knot..at the roots creating a whole weak area..also u are removing the space needed for real dreading you need a gap at the roots so it can mobve that undreaded hair creates the dreads you are replacing dreading with a long sero=ies of weak knots that cause the whole dread to be weaku need to stop iy and just leave em alone no twisting nothing..then they will dread and survive..your bigest mistake was trusting a salon..no salons are worthwhile anywherejamaican dreads dont use a salon so if she had a salon in jamaica she catered only to nieve tourists whio just wanted a dread look and didnt care if they lsastrd or fell off a year later

oh brother interlocking has been well known for ever to cause dreads to break! it was called root flipping till it became known as the worse thing u can do to dreads then salons changed the name to interlocking now that interlockings known to be bad they started to call it loopingi hate to tell u this but theres no way to fix it your only hope is to stop it stop messing with them at all no dreadballing no rubbing or rolling do nothing but seperate and just hope they dont fall off at least not till they grow out some undamaged dreads
