Hello there ladies and gentlemen! I'm new to this whole dread lock scene! Ever since i was a small child, I always admired them, even though i grew up in an area and a family that didn't feel the same about them, but at the tender age of 18 i finally took the plunge and started to dread my hair, via sectioning and backcombing, Although i did have to take them out because my college head didn't think they were acceptable, 2 years on, I'm 20 and I've had my dreads for 3 week now, And i love them, Although small sections of my dreads have started to fall away from each other, I don't use any products to plan on doing so! But is there any advice that could be passed down to a young soul such as myself?
