Dread Maintenance

Ok. Is there anything I should do if I take the wax and rubber bands out to aid them in forming naturally?

no your doing it 100% wrong and goibg toi a salon will only nake it worse'yiur freinds an idiot

u never want wax in dreads

u never want to maintain them every day

take that mess out remove all rubber bands scrug b out that nasty wax

now u got 2 choices

best choce

leaveit alone let it dread itself

or

twist n rip it

then leave ot alone let it dread

ni rubber bhands

no wax nastiness

no working on them all the time

klet them be

they will dread themselves when u get the wax out and let them dread

Also, I should probably mention, I have naturally thick, brown hair.

Dread Maintenance

Ok, So last week me ex-roommate dreaded my hair. How she did it was she parted my hair with rubber bands, and she added wax (dread head hq) and twisted, than put rubberbands at the bottom.

I've been maintainting them every day. I twist and put wax in them. I tried back combing them but they're all greasy now and the comb goes through alot of the times so I stopped doing this. I also use a blow dryer when I'm done

Now, some of them formed at the bottom but are very loose on top. I'm attaching a picture of what they look like, they're pretty loose and not that good. I was wondering if the way I'm doing this is wrong, if these are ever actually going to form into dreads. Also, I was wondering if I should go to a salon to get them fixed, I know of one that does them for $50.

Thank you for the help. Attached is a pic.
