Hey, I've just joined and thought I better introduce myself! :D I'm George and i've had dreads for 2years and 3 months. I love my dreads to bits and love seeing other dread heads.....so I thought I would join, uh huuuuuuuh!

I use a needle to tidy mine, not very often these days though because i'm lazy! Plus they seem to do pretty well without it. I've never had any problems to be honest, I know a lot of people do though so I guess it depends on if you use it correctly and your hair type
